Crab season is always a time for celebration at Monterey’s Old Fisherman’s Wharf which includes the beloved crab in its official logo! Many award-winning restaurants at Monterey's Old Fisherman's Wharf are participating in the special "Dungeness Delights at Monterey's Old Fisherman's Wharf" celebrating fresh Dungeness Crab available from the Monterey Bay. Crab sportfishing with Randy’s Fishing and Chris’ Fishing began the week of November 7th and commercial Dungeness Crab season starts November 15, 2016.
In addition to Dungeness Crab, locals and visitors can enjoy a wide array of delicious entrees at Old Fisherman's Wharf including an array of other fresh seafood, steaks, pasta and much more. A number of Monterey Wharf restaurants will be serving some delicious locally caught Dungeness crab entrees when the commercial season kicks off and they also offer Alaskan crab during the rest of the year.
