Enjoy an "Egg-Cellent" Easter on the Wharf Easter Celebration & the Beyond Bunnies Photo Contest

Monterey, CA. March 23, 2021.  Come to Old Fisherman’s Wharf for some “egg-ceptional” Easter fun where every bunny is welcome! Hop on over and see the fun Easter-themed holiday decor for fun photos beginning March 27th through April 4th. 

At a Glance:

Bunnies on the Wharf...

There will be a giant Easter Bunny roaming the Wharf on Saturday, April 3rd from 12 – 6 pm for distanced photo ops.

On Easter Sunday, April 4th, there will be a giant Easter Bunny in front of Candy World who will be giving out free delicious foiled-wrapped chocolate eggs.

Also, everyone is invited to participate in the Old Fisherman's Wharf’s “Beyond Bunnies  Photo Contest on the Wharf” during the entire month of April. 

Some of the Wharf restaurants will be offering delicious Easter lunch and dinner specials, too. Crab House will have an Easter Ham Dinner, Old Fisherman’s Grotto and Scales Seafood & Steaks will feature an Osso Bucco Easter Dinner and other restaurants will offer Easter specials as well.

The candy shops love Easter and will have some creative confection specials for the Easter season, too. Carousel Candies will feature a variety of homemade small and large chocolate rabbits, Easter candy apples, Panoramic eggs, Easter baskets, marshmallow chick peeps and eggs, and much more. Candy World will have chocolate foiled-wrapped chocolate caramel bunnies and eggs, a variety of Easter baskets filled with candy, cute stuffed animals and gold boxes with Godiva chocolate truffles. The Wharf Chocolate Factory will feature chocolate bunnies and lollipop bunnies.

The Wharf merchants will also feature some fun gift items for Easter. For cute women's outfits for Easter outings, Harbor House Gifts will have a Spring Boutique Clothing Sale with all upstairs boutique clothing will be an additional 25% off. (Did you know that John Steinbeck used to visit the upstairs when it was a bar/restaurant years ago?)

Indoor and Outdoor dining are now available as well as To Go/Curbside. Get your steps in while shopping at the fun Wharf shops. It’s also a great time to see our Monterey Bay and marine wildlife with a variety of Whale Watching, Fishing, Sailing and Glass Bottom Boat Trips offered by businesses on the Wharf.

About Old Fisherman’s Wharf’s Beyond Bunnies Photo Contest

Fisherman’s Wharf Association is pleased to announce another free to enter photo contest for the month of April,

There are several ways to win. To enter a photo in the Beyond Bunnies Photo Contest on the Wharf”, take a photo on the Wharf with you and something that pertains to either Easter OR Spring!

Be sure to include a one-sentence photo caption, your name, address, email and phone number. Please indicate in the email submission if the photo can be used on the Wharf’s social media with your photo credit (who took the photo and what it describes).  The subject line of the email should state Wharf Easter/Spring Photo Contest.

Photo submissions should be submitted to [email protected] before April 30, 2021. 

There will be a total of 6 winners and the first-place winner will receive $100 in Wharf Dollars, the second-place winner will receive $50 in Wharf Dollars and third place winner will receive $25 in Wharf Dollars) to be redeemed at any Wharf merchant. Three additional Honorable Mention Winners will receive a Sweet Treat ($25 value) from Candy World or Carousel Candies or Wharf Chocolate Factory. Winners will be notified by May 20, 2021.
 
New! Please note that the Waterfront Parking Lot adjacent to Old Fisherman’s Wharf now features four automated Pay Stations. Please be sure to prepay for your parking before exiting the Waterfront Parking Lot. Courtesy of the City of Monterey, from Monday through Thursday, there is two hours free parking for anyone from the ‘939’ zip code in the Waterfront Parking Lot if you ask for a validation sticker from a Wharf merchant and paste it onto the parking ticket before prepaying for your parking at one of the four Pay Stations. There is a button to push on each Pay Station to connect you to someone who can answer any questions.
