Rosemary & Thyme High Teas Celebrates Fall with "A Proper Autumn Tea" at Historic Casa Serrano on Sunday, October 18th

Traditional Afternoon Tea Features Signature Gold Blend, Classic Tea Fare and Special Scones Available to Take Home

September 28, 2026, Monterey, CA — Rosemary & Thyme High Teas will welcome the fall season with "A Proper Autumn Tea" on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at historic Casa Serrano, 412 Pacific Street in Monterey.

Guests will enjoy the elegance and tradition of a proper afternoon tea in the beautiful historic setting of Casa Serrano filled with art and antiques. The afternoon tea service will feature dainty finger sandwiches with classic fillings, sweet treats, freshly baked scones with strawberry jam and Devonshire cream, and lashings of Rosemary & Thyme's Special Gold Blend Tea.

"Autumn is such a wonderful time to gather around the tea table with friends and family, and Casa Serrano provides a beautiful historic setting for the experience," said Dorothy Findlater, Founder of Rosemary & Thyme High Teas. "We want our guests to enjoy the traditions of a proper afternoon tea — freshly baked scones, wonderful tea, delicious sandwiches and sweets — while taking time to relax, visit and enjoy a very special Autumn afternoon together."

Rosemary & Thyme's Special Gold Blend Tea combines rich black tea and bright Darjeeling with notes of honey and soft malt. The proprietary blend was created especially for the company's traditional afternoon tea service.

Guests who would like to continue the experience at home will also have the opportunity to purchase freshly baked Rosemary & Thyme scones at the event. Traditional Scones will be available in packs of three for $20, and Mini Cranberry Scones will be available in packs of four for $20.

The Autumn Tea continues Rosemary & Thyme High Teas emphasis on presenting traditional afternoon tea experiences in settings that celebrate the history and character of the Monterey Peninsula. Casa Serrano, one of Monterey's historic adobe buildings, provides an especially fitting backdrop for the fall gathering.
