North Fremont Business District Holiday Decorating Contest Winners

The North Fremont Business District of Monterey is pleased to announce the winners of its 16th Annual Holiday Decorating Contest. The community is asked to go out and see the winners’ beautiful holiday displays as well as other holiday décor along North Fremont Street in Monterey.

 

The 1st Place prize of $150 was received by the Quality Inn located at 2075 North Fremont, Monterey.

 

The 2nd Place prize of $100 was received by the Monterey Fairgrounds Inn at 2042 North Fremont, Monterey.

 

The 3rd Place prize of $50 was received by the Monterey Cookhouse Restaurant located at 2149 North Fremont, Monterey.

 

According to Leslie Svetich, President of the North Fremont Business District of Monterey, “We appreciate all of the businesses on North Fremont Street who took the time to decorate for the holidays, demonstrating their pride in this area. In addition, a big thank you to the many North Fremont businesses who are participating in our “Backstage Pass” VIP Discount Program that provides over two dozen special offers to our visitors.”

 

North Fremont Business District of Monterey is a volunteer-driven organization representing all the businesses along the North Fremont Street from the highway exits on the west end to Canyon Del Rey Blvd on the east end, with the mission of preserving, revitalizing, and promoting the Business District, through broad based community support and serving the needs of the local neighborhoods.  The North Fremont Business District of Monterey works to create a physically attractive, thriving center for working, shopping and living and an environment to enhance the economic vitality and quality of life for the community.
