First Night Monterey, the city's iconic event, is getting ready to host its 31st Community Celebration of the Arts on December 31, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until Midnight in Historic Downtown Monterey. About the 2024 First Night Monterey Poster
Each year, CSUMB Graphic Communications class has a competition for the FNM Poster and Buttons. This year, the colorful themed poster, “Together in Monterey” was designed by CSUMB student, Tatiana Cabrera Rojo. Tatiana is from Carmel Valley CA and is graduating this fall with a Bachelor of Science in visual communication design. After graduation, Tatiana plans to work in branding and advertising while still creating abstract works. In addition to being a graphic designer, she is a self-taught artist whose work can be found at Patricia Qualls Contemporary Art in Carmel and Carmel Valley.
How to Purchase First Night Monterey Buttons
Admission Buttons can be purchased at Early Bird prices through December 10, and at pre-event prices through December 28 online, and at many retail locations now through December 30:

First Night Monterey is dedicated to ensuring affordability for all attendees. With Adult and Youth buttons, as well as special online family pack savings, First Night guarantees inclusivity for everyone. Children under age 5 are free! Purchasing a button not only ensures your access to all venues but also directly supports the vibrant community arts and performances. Don’t forget that First Night Monterey Buttons make exceptional stocking stuffers, Hanukkah, and Secret Santa gifts.
Buttons purchased online are not shipped and can be picked up at Will Call on December 30 and 31, 2023. Please bring your receipt with the confirmation number (printed or on your cell phone) and identification/purchasing credit card. A nominal handling fee per order applies. Buttons can be purchased on December 31st at several sites, too.
