North Fremont Business District Announces Winners of the 22nd Annual Monterey Holiday Decorating Contest plus new Banner Fundraising Program
December 2023. Monterey, CA – More North Fremont Business District businesses took the time to decorate their businesses for the community to enjoy. The winners of the 22nd Annual North Fremont Business District of Monterey Holiday Decorating Contest (www.northfremontmonterey.org) were recently selected. The First Place Winner is Monterey Cookhouse at 2149 North Fremont. The Monterey Fairgrounds Inn at 2042 North Fremont is the Second Place winner. The Third Place winner is the Blu Pacific Hotel at 2050 North Fremont. The Interior Holiday Decorating Contest Winner is Del Monte Grille and Café located at the Monterey Bay Travelodge at 2030 North Fremont. The community is asked to go out and see the winners’ beautiful holiday displays as well as other holiday décor along North Fremont Street in Monterey.
According to Kelly Violini, President of the North Fremont Business District Board of Directors, “We truly appreciate all of the businesses on North Fremont Street who took the time to decorate for the holidays, demonstrating their pride in this area. We thank everyone for continuing to Shop Local in the North Fremont Business District of Monterey.”
New Banner Advertising Program
To fundraise and support the North Fremont Business District, the District is also offering ALL business owners and organizations the opportunity to pay to hang their vinyl banner on the Fairgrounds fence with a 2 for 1 holiday offer - two months for the price of one if reserved by January 31, 2023. Over 36,000 cars drive by Fairground and Garden Road per week and the advertisers with banners already on the fenceline do get lots of results! Details are at https://www.
