A Brief History of English Tea

Popularized in the 19th century during Queen Victoria’s reign, English High Tea began as a practical afternoon pick-me-up and blossomed into a beloved social tradition. Featuring delicate finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and assorted pastries, it remains a cherished ritual for those who appreciate grace, conversation, and culinary elegance.
