Develop Buyer Personas to Grow Your Business
Developing Buyer Personas for your business or service is a valuable marketing strategy.
First, start thinking about your existing and past customers.
Think about some of these questions.
What are the demographics of your current and potential customers?
Who are your best customers?
Can you categorize them and rank them in order of sales?
How long have they been your most profitable customers? Do you foresee any changes?
Do you know of similar customers you might target for the same reasons that these profitable customers use your company’s products? And, by the way, how have you rewarded your best customers?
What key customers in your target markets haven’t ever done business with you? Can you determine some of the reasons? Can you adjust your business to attract them more successfully?
Okay, you're in the right mindset. Now, it's time to build some Buyer Personas.
There are numerous tools out there. Here's one from HubSpot for example:
Personas are fictional, generalized characters that encompass the various needs, goals, and observed behavior patterns among your customers.
